Keep the candy bowl somewhere pets can't reach, and don't leave it on the floor when kids come back from trick-or-treating. If your pet eats chocolate, contact a veterinary hospital immediately and tell them when, how much, and what type of chocolate was eaten; don't try to induce vomiting yourself.
